Gone With The Wind

Frankly My Dear

The Year 1939* was one of the last years before Americas entry into World War II on Deceber 1942 when the Japanese Atacked Pearl Harbour.

In many ways 1939 represented a transition from an earlied age of innocence.

Even After The War begain in Europe in September 1939 Americans were looking and thinking about America.

Many Great Movies were made in 1939 including Gone With The Wind!

The Movie is a romanticized view of our civil war,a war story,a love story but most of all,a story of peserverence of Americans.

To me the Movie was a metophor not only about our civil war but for the trial to face Americans in World War II

The Movie was based on a book written by Margaret Mitchell and the movie produced by David O. Selznick.
